Our Client

Esanum (Esanum GmbH) was founded in Berlin in 2007 by Doctor Bodo Müller, Chief of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Vivantes Klinikum Hellersdorf Hospital in Berlin (Germany). He conceived the idea for the platform esanum and is responsible for both its conceptual development and content. esanum began as a student project and was financed through state grants and backers from outside of the pharmaceutical industry. In this way, the platform was assured independence from the pharmaceutical industry, a fundamental cornerstone for esanum.

The Challenge

esanum was born and so was a strategy in the German market. Findasense was tasked with introducing the platform in the Spanish market, and it was necessary to do a market study and outline an appropriate strategy. As with any start-up, esanum needed to achieve certain objectives within 6 months. These objectives were transferred to us and we assumed the role as “country managers” for the platform, supporting the Berlin team in all strategic areas and hiring personnel in Madrid to execute the planning.

Our Strategy

The strategy defined by Findasense had two areas of focus: create brand awareness in a new market and gradually increase the number of physicians belonging to National board registered with the platform as well as the number of active users. In the initial months after its launch, esanum obtained the registration of 6,000 physicians at a very low cost per registration with a mix of on and offline actions.
